I am so thankful to my mom. I never knew how hard it was to raise children and want so much for them. I appreciate celebrating motherhood so much more now. Thank you mom for all the love, guidance, support, and friendship through the years! And thank you Sue, my other mom, you have always been so wonderful and loving to me. I am so blessed to have you both!
On Saturday we went to Papa's house and watched Shay and Michael's new espresso stand get delivered. It is so cute! It was very exciting. And all the kids played in Papa's pond and creek. They had a blast. My Papa lives across the street from Azteca in Poulsbo - since it is so close to the schools where Shay (and I) both graduated I think they are going to name it "Viking Coffee".

But we couldn't stay too long because Paul had a surprise for Marissa and I. Marissa has always loved nail polish and begs to get them painted at the nail salon. So Paul scheduled us an appointment for Marissa to get her fingernails and toenails painted. She picked out hot pink with sparkles. And I got a pedicure and manicure! It was so fun. Just girl time!
That evening we took pizza and salad over to mom and dad's and as usual the kids had so much fun playing at the tree house, running around the yard, and they played hide and seek in the field with grandpa because the grass is so tall they could lay down in it and you couldn't see them at all.On Sunday, we all enjoyed and relaxing yet productive day at home. I got a diaper bag sewn for myself! It is reversable with 6 pockets.
I weeded my gardens, vacuumed out the car, and a few other projects. Paul worked on our fire pit. I wanted it moved to a better backyard spot and he is making it larger. We love to have bonfires -well the kids really do! So it will be fun to have one right off our back deck now. Pictures to come :)
Another wonderful weekend with family and friends. God is so good!
